Spiritual life is prevalent on the campuses of Grace  Cascade Christian Schools, as core subjects and extra-curriculars are enhanced with God’s Word and teaching. Students begin memorizing Bible verses in Preschool and all students attend Bible class each day and a chapel service each week.

As students become older and life brings about new pressures from peer acceptance, we realize the importance of establishing a Spiritual tone early in the year.

Students at Grace Cascade continue to build upon this Spiritual Foundation. Previous student-led activities have been Meet Me at the Pole prayer at Grace Christian and Cascade Christian, weekly worship services two times a week before school at Cascade Christian, and Worship at the Creek – a time to reflect on God’s creation while worshiping by Bear Creek.

2020-2021 Theme

Anchored and Unshaken

Steadfast. Standing Firm. Confident In Christ.
Hebrews 6:19a NKJV

“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast.” Hebrews 6:19a

At the middle school, Grades 6, 7, and 8 participate in a Spiritual Foundation Day during the second or third week of September. Grade 6 and 7 spend a day on campus, while Grade 8 students have an off-campus Spiritual Foundation Day. The past few years they have traveled to Trail Christian Fellowship for this special day.

A tradition at Cascade Christian High School is to begin each year with a Spiritual Foundation Day for the students and faculty, sponsored by the ASB (Associated Student Body) officers. The purpose of this day is not only to set the spiritual tone for the year but to also give students an opportunity to interact and get acquainted, especially as we have many students who transfer into Cascade Christian their freshman year from other private, home, and public schools. Spiritual Foundation Day is counted as a school day and all students are expected to be in attendance.

Each week both of the Grace Cascade Christian Schools campuses hold a chapel service that includes singing, prayer, special music, and a guest speaker or a Christian media presentation. Guest speakers are typically pastors from local churches within Rogue Valley. At times we have an opportunity to host a Christian author, musician, or special guest. The high school students have also held prayer chapels.

Parents are always welcome to attend.

Grace Christian School Campus

Grace Christian School holds chapel service on Fridays in the Phipps Memorial Chapel (First Baptist Church auditorium). All students in grades one through five participate in chapel, with an occasional “split” chapel. Split chapels allow our speakers to address smaller groups of students within narrower age ranges. Each chapel is opened by students leading with the Pledge of Allegiance, Pledge to the Christian Flag, Pledge to the Bible, and a prayer.

Cascade Christian Campus

Cascade Christian Middle School holds chapel service on Thursdays in the Middle School Commons. Eighth grade students lead worship. Students hear from a variety of Rogue Valley pastors, as well as our own faculty and staff. Periodically, middle school students participate in a student-led Worship chapel.

Cascade Christian High School holds chapel service on Thursdays in the auditorium located within The Pavilion. The Associated Student Body (ASB) President opens each chapel with the Pledge of Allegiance, announcements, and a word of prayer. A time of praise and singing is led by worship teams comprised of students, faculty, staff, or members of the church community.
