Congratulations to Tanner Northrop, Cascade Christian High School’s Kiwanis Student of the Month for December 2017.

Tanner, a junior, is an honor roll student and has been the recipient of a Cascade Christian High School Academic Excellence Award in Algebra 2, as well as the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Distinguished High School Student Awards in the areas of Academics and Christian Service. He will be one of the first inductees into Cascade Christian High School’s National Honor Society at a ceremony in January 2018.

Tanner has a passion for computers and making videos in his spare time. He and a friend developed a website and social media account, “The Daily Pancake” that promotes the activities and accomplishments at Cascade Christian. He is a valuable member of Cascade Christian’s “Tech Team”, assisting the IT department with the school’s Chromebook project and troubleshooting teacher and staff computer issues. Last summer, Tanner began interning at CORE Business Services and was recently hired as a paid employee. Tanner helps out with video and audio set-up at Cascade Christian and he runs the video stream system at his church.

Tanner’s willingness to step out and help his fellow classmates and his teachers is one of the many reasons he was awarded the 2016-2017 Cascade Christian High School Character Quality award for Kindness at the end of his sophomore year.

Post graduation, Tanner plans to attend college and obtain an Information Technology degree.

Congratulations, Tanner!
