Jackson County Right to Life sponsors an annual contest involving art, essay and video production.

Cascade Christian art teacher, Ms. Kim Phillips, had all of her high school art classes submit an 8″ x 10″ poster on the National Right to Life theme of “Life…because everyone deserves a chance.” The posters were judged by Ms. Phillips and the local Right to Life Chapter. We are pleased to announce that our students did amazing!

Here are the results from our student body:

Grades 9 and 10

1st place – Lauryn Squyres  (artwork going to the state competition April 22)

2nd place – Maddy Schwartz

3rd place (tie) – Hannah Smith and Maddy Kucera

 

Grades 11 and 12

1st place – Emilee Kuyper (artwork going to the state competition April 22)

2nd place – Megan Tyler-Rubio

 

If Lauryn and Emilee win the state competition, their artwork goes to the National Right To Life Competition and could win them $2000!!
