Fourth graders are busy again! This time they are making their very own candy creations!
They are currently studying the novel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. As the story takes them into the Inventing Room, students have been tasked with designing their own new candy.
Will their persuasive letter they have to write to Mr. Willy Wonka be convincing enough for him to make their new candy creation?
They will need to explain how the candy is unique, how it is marketable to a specific audience, and of course it must include a detailed description — or how else could Mr. Wonka make it again?
Students are pictured below making their candy creations out of play dough and “real” candy. (Mrs. Amann and Mrs. Preszler save the candy all year long!)
