Zoey Boisen, a junior at Cascade Christian High School, is an honor student, maintaining a 4.0 while pursuing the Scholar’s Diploma, to include taking multiple AP classes, and was recognized as a Kiwanis Student of the Month in February. Some of her favorite subjects are English, History, and Science – yet Zoey’s love of learning has helped her enjoy each class and earned her many academic awards.

Zoey is well respected by both her teachers and students alike. Consistently giving of herself to others, Zoey is known for being a hardworking, considerate student who shows genuine care for her peers and celebrates their successes. She approaches challenges head on with a positive attitude!

Zoey has served as a class officer every year of high school and is currently the Junior Class President. She has been a student leader in her church and youth group, and has been an Assistant Director and Kindergarten teacher for her church’s VBS (Vacation Bible School). Zoey has gone on several mission trips to serve the homeless with YWAM.

For the past number of years, Zoey has been involved in supporting women being rescued from the sex trade in Nepal and has helped organize and run jewelry and scarf sales, raising thousands of dollars for women’s ministries there. Zoey greatly cares for these victimized women and is passionate about sharing their stories and educating others about their plight.

Zoey really enjoys athletics and has participated in cross country and track, and has represented Cascade at the Oregon State Track Meet. Zoey enjoys reading, painting, and any outdoor activity with her family and friends.

She is excited about her future! She is seriously contemplating becoming a Psychiatrist. Last summer, she attended a 10-day intensive medical seminar at UCLA, learning what it would take to become a doctor. Due to her love of learning and of all subjects, she is thinking of double majoring in pre-med and humanities.

Zack Fralich, a junior at Cascade Christian High School, has a GPA of 3.9 and was recognized as a Kiwanis Student of the Month in February. He is currently Co-Commissioner of Activities for the Associated Student Body (ASB) at Cascade Christian. Zack is a humble, hardworking young man who has positively affected the community around him. He is well respected by both his teachers and his peers.

Zack has participated in football since the fifth grade. His favorite position is Running Back. Since he is typically smaller than everyone else on the field, he loves the adrenaline rush he gets from being pursued for a tackle. He believes that football has been a great life experience for him because it has taught him about sacrifice, accountability and dedication. His hobbies include climbing mountains, exploring the outdoors, finding cool outdoor spots, running long distances (he just completed an ultra-marathon with his dad and brother), and spending time with his family. He recently received a drone as a gift and really enjoys flying it off mountains and into canyons.

Zack does not yet have a set plan for post-graduation. He will most likely go to college and then return to work for his father in his insurance business.[/one_half_last]
