Meet Savannah.

savannah
Savannah is currently a sophomore at Cascade Christian High School. She enjoys hanging out with friends and being around animals. When she thinks about her future she pictures herself as a marine biologist, as she would like to go diving to discover new sea creatures and observe their habitats.

Savannah has been a Grace Cascade student for 11 years! She says what she enjoys most about her school is the friendships she has made throughout the years and how friendly the teachers are.

They (teachers) really care about us. I can’t wait to see where God takes me after I graduate, and I hope I have just as good of an experience in the future as I did here at Grace and Cascade.

Two of Savannah’s favorite elective courses at Cascade Christian are choir and Spanish. She keeps busy with extracurricular activities such as cheerleading. She and her cheer teammates recently competed at the State competition where they placed 8th out of sixteen schools. Her team is young and she looks forward to what the future will bring for them. When she is not cheerleading, she is busy preparing for the Cascade Christian Ministry Outreach trip to Cascade’s sister school, El Padul, in Managua, Nicaragua, where she can practice her Spanish as she works with the youth. She was also involved in running while attending Grace Christian Middle School.

Savannah is currently Cascade Christian High School’s representative for the Miss Rogue Valley pageant. Her platform she has chosen to sponsor is the Sparrow Clubs of Southern Oregon. In order to raise funds for the Sparrow Clubs, she has asked the Grace Christian Middle School and Cascade Christian High School Brain Bowl teams to assist her. The two student groups will team up and take on the teachers of Grace and Cascade at a Brain Bowl meet on Thursday, February 25, 2016, 7:00 PM at the Grace Christian School chapel. Entrance fee is $5 or a donation at the door. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Grace Christian office or from Savannah at Cascade. Savannah thanks everyone participating in this event – whether as a competitor or a spectator – as it will benefit some great kids!
