History was made at Cascade Christian High School on Thursday, January 18, 2018! Nineteen students were the first inductees of our Inaugural Induction Ceremony into the Cascade Christian High School National Honor Society (NHS). Please join us in congratulating the following students:  Grace Boisen, Christina Cannon, Kaylee Cannon, Shaylynn Clark, Jeffrey Fairbanks, Olivia Fargason, Madeline Kim, Mia Mayben, Landon Moir, Mari Montgomery, Cordelia Nelson, Tanner Northrop, Sophie Pena, Amelia Skelton, Kendra Sorani, Kyle Wegner, Trayson Weidman, Joel Wheeler, Alisa Whitney

Students were addressed by faculty members and administration, reminding them of the four pillars that represent what makes up the criteria of a National Honor Society member. Those four pillars are Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. Presenters were Mrs. Casey Mayben, Mr. Gary Bennett, Mr. Mike Mayben, Mrs. Autumn Boekenoogen, and Mrs. Devon Rickabaugh. (Mrs. Michele Moir and Mr. Daren Croy were unable to be present.)

“This has been a vision for our school”, says Mrs. Devon Rickabaugh, Head of Schools, “and I am thrilled to see it come to fruition.” Mrs. Michele Moir, a middle and high school ELA teacher, played a large part in the implementation and planning of Cascade Christian’s NHS chapter and induction ceremony, and we are very grateful for all of her hard work.

Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication to all the students at Cascade Christian. Thank you for the extra effort in creating the National Honor Society membership for the first time ever at Cascade Christian High School! – CCHS Mom
