Meet Brandon.
Brandon Winter 2016

Brandon Winter, Cascade Christian High School senior and son of Todd and DeAnn Winter, will be playing football for the Olivet Nazarene University Tigers in fall 2016 on academic and athletic scholarships. Olivet is a private university located in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Brandon, a 4.0 student at Cascade Christian, has been active in Challengers athletics playing football, basketball and tennis all four years. Brandon was instrumental to the Challengers’ football team in his positions of offensive and defensive lineman.

“Brandon is a great young man who made a tremendous impact on the football program.  He will do well and bless many people as he moves forward.”  ~ Jon Gettman, CCHS Head Football Coach

Brandon, when not on the field or studying, is busy volunteering in the community. He is very active in his church youth group. Brandon loves to travel and has been on mission trips to Papua, New Guinea three times and to Mexico. He has a kind heart and is others focused; evidenced by how he graciously gives of his time to mow lawns at the Magdalene House, a home for teenage mothers, and serve meals to the homeless at the Gospel Mission. This year he has also participated in events to raise funds for Cascade Christian’s Sparrow, including playing in the staff vs. student basketball game which raised over $13,000 for Cascade Christian’s Sparrow, Orick.

Brandon has been involved in the Rogue Community College STEM program and plans to study Civil Engineering while at Olivet.

Please join us in congratulating Brandon on his accomplishments, giving God the glory for his talents.
