Cascade Christian High School Varsity and JV Brain Bowl teams at the annual High School Brain Bowl tournament on the Southern Oregon University (SOU) campus.
Although the tournament didn’t go as hoped this year, these students worked very hard and never gave up. Congratulations on persevering and representing our school in a Christ-like way!
Brain Bowl is one of SOU’s Pre-College Youth Programs that Cascade Christian High School participates in. CCHS also has students enter artwork into the Best of the Best Art show in the spring, as well as earn college credit through the Advanced Southern Credit program.
Special SHOUT OUT to Cascade Christian students Lauren Anderchuk (9) and Michael Croy (9) for being recognized by the Brain Bowl organizers as “most excellent helpers” at the tournament! The team would like to also thank Christina Cannon (10) for her many hours of dedication helping the team practice during lunch. We missed you on Saturday!
We’d like to thank volunteer parent, Jeff Smith, for dedicating hours of time to help us practice and prepare for the Brain Bowl tournament. “Thank you for also being there for us on Saturday and cheering us on and reminding us to always keep our heads up!”
And lastly, but most importantly, “Thank you Miss Swope for your hours of dedication you give to prepare, not only high school, but middle school Brain Bowl teams for competition. We sure missed you on Saturday and pray you feel better very soon!”
