This year’s senior class will be our Thirty Second graduating class. We are having a great year helping assist our students to become the leaders our country and world need. Each year the student body officers, along with staff, select a theme for the year. This year's theme is ...” Rooted and Growing in Love, Courage, Humility, Integrity – Unified in Peace."Based on Ephesians 3:17b, 4:2 & 3, and Colossians 2:7.
As we train our students to be leaders, we know that love, courage, humbleness and integrity are traits that are important to have. Pray for your student this year that they will be rooted as they study, learn and grow in the Lord Jesus. Our vision is to see our students become adults who are leaders in their families, careers, churches, their communities, and the world, living out righteous lives in the culture. We are thrilled that parents like you are committed to Christian education and that even in difficult days you believe in its extreme value. Your faithfulness to support the school through tuition, gifts, and prayer have sustained us these last few years.
Our numbers remain strong at all schools even during the economic downturn! Grace Christian Elementary has 420 students showing a reflection of growth in our three year old pre-school and pre-kindergarten classes. The middle school has 224 students. Cascade Christian High School has 315 enrolled. We continue to get inquires at all schools concerning openings. Presently we have 958 students learning about Jesus each week in our schools!
God has blessed us as we just moved into our new Pavilion Annex at the high school. This new addition was gifted through a family estate selecting a project that met the needs of our growing athletic and performance programs. We now have additional restrooms, locker-dressing rooms, a weight room, meeting room and stage. We are also thankful for the many friends of the school that gave towards our annual fund drive raising just under $300,000 for financial aid. We are now assisting 230 students to attend our schools and we could not do this without the generosity of our faithful friends.
The Nicaragua Connection outreach this year has allowed our students and families to bless each student at El Padul Christian School in Managua, Nicaragua to receive a backpack full of school supplies. The backpacks – over 400 of them- arrived through for the start of their school year in February. Our exchange student this fall – Evelying Garcia enjoyed seeing a number of her high school friends in March when our school sent a mission team to Nicaragua help paint classrooms and assist staff with a neighborhood outreach along with encouraging students to stay in school and graduate.
We look forward to an exciting year of varied events where our students will have opportunities to show their leadership skills. Keep praying and trusting God as we assist parents in raising up the next generation as unto the Lord!
